Vancouver, BC. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for the team as we have had our athletes competing at the BC Championships, Tour of Victoria, Alex Stieda Classic, Winston Salem Cycling Classic and the Philadelphia Cycling Classic.
Congratulations to Jack Burke on his outstanding performance winning the BC Provincial Individual Time Trial Championships! At this time Jack is putting together his final preparations for the Canadian National Time Trial Championships coming up next month in Ottawa, ON. Congratulations to Garrett McLeod on his win at the Cheemo Perogies Cycling Classic, a part of the Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series in Victoria, BC. Garrett held on for an impressive win in a field with none of his teammates. A full write up of the event can be found here.
Congratulations to Bailey McKnight on his impressive win at the 2016 Alex Stieda Cycling Classic Road Race in Leduc, AB. Bailey pulled together a tough win at this race, edging out his closest competitors by nearly half a minute. Again, Bailey was able to put together this win with no teammates in the field, another impressive victory! The full results of this event can be found here.
At the 2016 UCI Winston Salam Cycling Classic and UCI Philadelphia Cycling Classic, the team started the last leg of the Eastern United States portion of this year’s racing calendar. During hard fought races, our athletes continued to improve their form as they head into the critical series of races in Canada over the next few weeks, including the Canadian National Road Championships.
Up Next! – Coming up next for the team is the Tour de Beauce in Quebec. Our athletes have spent the last week at the Bromont Cycling Centre in Quebec preparing for the upcoming races. We are pleased to announce our roster for the Tour de Beauce below!
