H&R Block Pro Cycling Team Welcomes Trek Bicycles as a Team Partner

Vancouver, BC – Trek Bicycles becomes the H&R Block Pro Cycling Team’s official frame partner.

We welcome Trek Bicycles as the team’s official frame partner for the 2018 season. We are happy to be aligned with a globally recognized brand as we continue to grow the team.

Team Owner Mark Ernsting, Trek Service Technician Dan O’Connell and Team Director Maxime Martin show off the 2018 Frame.

The team will be riding on the Trek Emonda frame set this season. The Emonda represents the lightest and stiffest road bikes that Trek has ever made. Every detail of the bike from its integrated BB90 bottom bracket to OCLV500 carbon material is designed to work together. The frame provides all the ride characteristics that the riders are looking for; stiffness, lightness, responsiveness and a perfect geometric fit. Through our continued partnership with Shimano, the frames will be spec’d with top of the line Dura-Ace drivetrain, C40 & C60 wheelset’s, along with PRO stem, handle bar and saddle.

“We worked closely with Evan Moore, District Manager of Trek Bicycles to close this deal. We are also working very closely with the Trek Bicycle shop in Port Coquitlam and Service Technician, Dan O’Connell, who meticulously built all the bikes”, said Team Owner, Mark Ernsting. Each bike is custom built with each riders’ personal requests, and this year riders will have the option at each race to either use the new Shimano C40 or C60 race wheelsets.

The riders are now getting their personal bikes dialled in at the Team Camp in Tucson, Arizona in preparation for the first official UCI race of the season, the Joe Martin Stage Race.

Trek was founded on a simple, honest principle: build bikes of the highest quality craftsmanship to provide riders a lifetime of joy and adventure. Today, we honor our rich history by creating bikes that are a testament to this vision.
