H&R Block Pro Cycling Team – 9-years with Rudy Project

Vancouver, BC – The H&R Block Pro Cycling Team thanks Rudy Project for their support of the team over the past 9-years.

Rudy Project has been involved with the H&R Block Pro Cycling Team since it’s initial start as an amateur team, therefore the decision to no longer continue the partnership was one that was not easy to make.

The team has prided itself to never leave a partner that has been good to the program. “We have been very fortunate to have partners that have been with the team since the program’s inception and Rudy Project has been one of them”, said Mark Ernsting, Team Owner. Rudy Project provided the team with first class road and time trial helmets, as well as performance and casual eyewear for the riders and staff. Rudy Project has looked after the team in a professional manner, however with an opportunity to grow the team with one of the current partners, the team will be bringing on a new helmet and eyewear sponsor in 2018.

The team has worked closely with Chris Lupo, Director of Sports Marketing & Global Sponsorship Director for RACE, Exclusive Distributor of Rudy Project. “Chris is someone I have really grown to respect over the years as his word could be counted on and he recognized the value in having the team represent his brand as one of only three professional road cycling teams in North America to receive this level of support. Chis also always ensured that the riders were looked after throughout the season”, said Ernsting.

The Board of Directors, Staff and Riders thanks Chris and his team at Rudy Project and wish them all the best going into the 2018 season.

In the coming weeks the team will announce the new helmet and eyewear partner.
