Garrett McLeod Explains Benefits Of Our Riders Working With BC Bike Fit.

Over the past few months the H&R Block Pro Cycling team has been working closely with Dave Howells of BC Bike Fit. With a new season on the horizon it’s always a good idea to revisit our positioning on the bike, whether we are experiencing issues or simply want to confirm that our positions are still dialed in perfectly. With high volumes of training, our bodies are constantly tightening under stress or becoming more functional with specific core and flexibility work. Ideal bike fit is constantly evolving with these changes so a checkup before the season begins is a wise plan.

BC Bike fit is the place to go if you are looking to improve your bike setup in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, BC. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and is certified as a Bike Fit Systems pro fitter as well as being the only Bike Fit Systems instructor in Canada. He also holds a Fit Institute of Slowtwitch certification to optimize the position of triathletes and time trialists. His process is very thorough, and he takes an honest approach in maximizing comfort and performance.

BC Bike fit has helped us whether it be mitigating an injury or slight modifications to an existing setup to maximize efficiency and comfort. He is very thorough, and will soon have a Purely Custom adjustable bike to really test limits and multiple positions easily. This will make it much easier to find the perfect size frame before a purchase. When you’re thinking about remortgaging your house for that dream bike, it’s nice to be 100% certain you’re ordering the right size frame before it’s too late.
